Each Christmas Season the Haysville Optimist Club affords to the community a special remembrance opportunity. A decorated Christmas tree is placed in the Haysville Public Library. Anyone wishing to do so is encouraged to add an ornament of their choosing in commemoration of a deceased loved one. About 50 families or individuals visit the library to honor family members or friends. Those who participate highly treasure this unique and special vehicle to express their love.
