Educator of the Year

In February of each year, nomination forms for Educator of the Year are forwarded to all employees of our school district. These forms must be returned to our local club by April 15th. Based on a club committee review of the written nominations the Educator of the Year is selected. This can be a very difficult decision. Our outstanding educator receives a $300 monetary award and a plaque commemorating his or her selection as Educator of the Year. In addition, the winner's name is inscribed on a plaque that hangs in the School Administration Building. The Haysville Optimist Club is pleased to acknowledge our superior educators.
